Lt. Commander Burt C Warner served in the CT Naval Militia and US Navy from 1909-45. During WWI he was on the battleship USS Georgia, and at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in WWII. He was also commander of the 19th Div, 5th Btln. His Colt 1911 service pistol was serial 570, from the first Navy shipment.
